“We support Project Liv every year, in line with the decision made by our Executive Committee. Scandic Trans is committed to taking social and regional responsibility,” says CEO Mikael Löfqvist.
The project has three focus areas. The first, Life Dreams, fulfills 60 major dreams and over 500 mini dreams for children with serious illnesses each year. The second focus area, Life in Care, enhances children’s care and hospital environments with various hospital kits, décor items, and colorful accents that bring joy. The third focus area is Life Support, which includes everything from support calls and support personnel to one-off assistance initiatives.

“As a supporting company, you have the option to decide whether your contribution should be directed to a specific initiative,” explains Nina Brännkärr-Friberg, initiator of Project Liv.
, founder of Project Liv. It’s essential to have someone working concretely towards happier hospital environments, someone who creates joy in the healing process, and someone who values care given in a patient's own emotional language, their mother tongue.
“Continuous support from businesses is crucial for us since annual grants and donations can vary. For our hands-on work, contributions from the business sector make all the difference,” Nina adds.
