Scandic Trans Atria's export logistics in Scandinavia through Tuoretie Oy, which is responsible for Atria's transport operations in Finland and specializes in food logistics. Several trucks depart from Finland every week carrying both fresh and frozen goods. “The opportunities offered by transport to Sweden and the flexibility of the timetables were decisive factors in our choice. Scandic Trans transport chilled and frozen goods in the same trucks, and the drivers are extremely competent,” says Jaakko Saha, Logistics Manager at Tuoretie Oy.
All our food transport vehicles are equipped with temperature monitoring that alerts us at the slightest deviation. We also offer temperature reporting to the customer – for full transparency throughout the entire chain.
Scandic Trans , in collaboration with Viking Line, Scandic Trans offers virtually emission-free sea transport using biogas (LBG). Combined with our HVO-powered road transport, we are creating a green transport corridor across the Baltic Sea – with up to 90% lower CO₂ emissions.
